Its been awhile.....
Life gets busy, and then things take a backseat, and most recently one of thost things has been my blogging. I miss it, but there is so much going on it is crazy. We have spent alot of time at the Lake, nothing beats spending a hot summer day by the water, with family coming in from all over the place to visit. We bought the kids kayaks and they have enjoyed them alot. Everyone is brown as bears with all that outdoor time. The fourth we spent In Lake Placid because Hillarie was marching there, what a gorgeous place. We have been busy with Parades, ballgames and cookouts. We have yet to have our yearly gathering here at our house but, that is in the plans for the beginning of August. I am all registered for college, classes begin on the 25th of August. Im so excited(and a bit nervous). But, the end result will be so worth it. The mines are not doing so well, so Mark is currently searching for a new job, but we have decided we will not be moving again. We love our new home, and being close to our families it what is really important. I know things will be fine. Faith...gotta have it, without it ..I cant imagine. I will be officially cosing up my daycare as of September 1st. While its hard to let go of some of the kids that Ive had since they were born, it is time for somthing new. I know that last day will be a day of mixed emotions and yes, Ill probably cry, cause I love them like my own, but there will also be that excitment of a new beginning. I am going to continue Substitute teaching this fall and tutoring as well. Most of the courses I am taking the first 2 semesters are available online, which is really awesome. Today is a pretty quiet day here, I went out to our garden this morning and picked Lettuce, peas, and turnips. We have yellow squash almost ready as well as tomatoes and zucchini. Pumpkin plants are flowering like crazy and my sunflowers, some of them are about 6 foot tall and ready to blossom. I must say(yes Im admitting this Mark) that the new tractor was a great investment because we have an awesome garden. It is nice just stepping out in your own yard and picking all the fixings for an yummy garden salad. I wasnt thrilled about the tractor purchase at first...lol...what do I know. We finally ended our vehicle search and agreed upon and Chevy equinox. I love it. Its black with tinted windows and a sunroof and very family friendly. I am missing my Mustang a bit, and hate seeing it being driven by someone else, but it really wasnt the right time for us as a family to have such a vehicle. We will have another someday..when the kids are older....much much older. So that in a nutshell, is an update on what has been going on in our neck of the woods. Ill try to be better about getting on here. Ill try....

Back To School!!!!
Entry for September 06, 2007
The Kids are back at school, the kids are back at school, high ho the dareo(sp)? the kids are back at school! Please excuse me while I share my excitement over this fact! It is so unbelievably quiet here right now! AHHHHHHHHHHH! When I first dropped off the kiddos at school I felt the slightest twinge of sadness...and then POOF, just like that it was gone, and I was thinking free at last , free at last! Then reality struck, and I realized today was Thursday, which is one of the two days a week I have my DC baby, oh well...one is way better than 7! We had our VA inspections today, this is an insepction for military people buying a house, to make sure everything is up to code by their standards. Hubby and I were sweating this a little because we are both quite unfamiliar with the requirements that they have, and figured they were probably pretty fussy. They came and the only thing we have to do is put up a couple hand railings, which hubby is doing right now, so its all good, our closing is set for the 14th! Life is Good! Everything has fallen into place so nicely that it almost seems unbelievable, just a sign though I think, that it is meant to be! Hope you are having a great day! I sure am..heck its almost noon already, time is going wayyyyyyyyyy to fast!LOL

Feels like home...............

I have to say that we are all settling into our new home nicely and I have no other words to explain it than it just feels like home! As my husband and I sat at our dining room table tonight looking out over our back 40 as we call it, I said to him "we have come along way", and he agreed that we certainly have. I myself have grown so much over the year, I look back at where I was, how unsettled I felt, you know that feeling of, there has got to be more out there than this, and now, I feel like Ive come full circle, I am for the first time in my life totally content! What an awesome feeling that is I might add! I am having a ball decorating our new home, its like a clean slate for me, I really really wish this area was an area where people paid others to come in a be an interior decorator, I would so love to do that. We should have our paperwork from the lawyer on the sale of our other home tommorow. We are selling to a family who is in the military and have been doing the housing shuffle and this will be there first purchase. How exciting for them, and for us to sell only 3 weeks after listing! Things are really coming together now and I am so very thankful for it! Life right now is even better than a box o' chocolates! Night All!

Its hot hot hot!
I know I know..dont complain about the heat because in just a few short months we will be whining about the freezing cold! But , (haha) I hate the humidity, and hauling boxes and heavy furniture in it makes me cranky! Its hot, and I dont like it. Id rather be sitting by the pool drinking a yummy frozen concoction! But Noooooooooo...we must move! Ok, so I really am still excited about moving, I just wish it were cooler. We had a great day yesterday, we went to a BBQ with my grandparents and then we came back to our old house to get some more boxes, then we went home and had a bonfire and had the neighbors over and we toasted smores.Yummo! After everyone left and I picked everything up, I realized that I didnt have puppy food, and we were almost out of water. We arnt drinking the water yet, until it is tested as it is well water. So anyways, off I headed to our local grocery, to pick up a "FEW" things. Almost $100.00 later I was back home and putting everything away, I finally called it a night at about 12. And today its back to moving! Oh fun!Im glad we arnt doing this again! I believe Ive heard that before, not to long ago as a matter of fact, but like I tell everyone, this time I mean it!
I have wonderful Sunday!

Good Morning with Coffee..and lots of it!
I would love to say that I am well rested this morning, but that would be a big fat lie! Moving stinx, plain and simple. I know it will be well worth it in the end, but it is alot of work. We stayed at our new home last night and I think my head finally hit the pillow around 1 a.m. The only thing right now that keeps my stress level to a minimum is the fact that there is no hurry for us to have everything out of our old house. The people buying our house are not going to be ready to do anything until next month, and that gives us time to get everything in order. Now, along with everything we have going on I am also trying to plan a housewarming party as well. We are thinking of going with a "stock the bar party" because we dont need gifts and people feel they need to bring somthing and a friend gave me this great idea! Thanks for that! Im off to do some more packing..fun fun! Have a great day!

Moving Day!
Finally after months of anticipation and lots and lots of hard work we are moving into our dream home. While my husband and I both said we would never ever move again after moving back to our hometown last year, here we are packing it all up once again! But, this is it, we wont be moving again. It will be so nice to have a home that doesnt need a ton of remodeling, while remodeling is fun, it takes away from family time, and we both truly enjoy that.We are moving from a quiet village street to 38 acres of country! This gives the kids room to run and ride their four wheelers and just be kids, without the worry of who your neighbors are and who you can trust and who you cannot. Im very excited about our move, although as I look around me at all these boxes I say "UGGG"! I happy that we will be getting settled before the school years starts, which I cannot believe is only 4 weeks from today. The kids are really excited about the move, even more excited that they have a old cow tunnel that goes right under the main highway to the other side of the road to their friends house, they can even ride their four wheelers threw it. I have yet to do that, Im a bit of a chicken, Ill just walk over and meet um' there! The image on my blog is looking out over our "back 38" as we call it. Just gorgeous and looking forward to many many more sunsets.
